Before
Barack Obama became the President of the United States, no one has even heard of the
Jorg Gray brand that sells watches ranging from US$200-$300.
Lately, the watchmakers issued the JG6500 Commemorative Edition, which sells like hot cakes for the price of $325.
Letterman Marketing has brought in the watches to Malaysia, which are going for RM1,080-RM1,380. Not too expensive.
Obama's Jorg Gray watch was a gift from one of his secret service agents when he was still a senator. Since his inauguration, it has gone on to receive wide media attention.

A few nights ago on a talk show, Obama wore a large-sized watch which got people tweeting and speculation that it was an Omega or even a Rolex. My guess would be it wasn't a Rolex, as most watches for men by Rolex have a metal bracelet, while the one he wore had a dark leather strap.
Unless the President has recently gone shopping and bought an Omega, it's likely to have been his trusty Tag Heuer or Jorg Gray.
