Ramadan At Your Doorstep

One of the perks of working for a hotel group is being in touch with the various food and beverage promotions. Dining out is, as you can probably guess, one of my interests!

The month of Ramadan has begun, and there are plenty of buka puasa buffets going on in Dorsett hotels. Let me share some of promotions we have in Kuala Lumpur with you.

Grand Dorsett Subang has buffets at Terazza Brasserie and Miyako Japanese restaurant. All diners get 40% discount until this Sunday! There is also a Ramadan set menu at The Emperor Chinese restaurant.

Dorsett Regency KL has celebrity chef Jaafar Onn entertaining diners at Checkers Cafe. And there's 50% discount today. Full price is RM69.90++, so it's only RM34.45 for a feast of nostalgic Malay dishes today!

Maytower Hotel & Serviced Residences's La Maison restaurant has a buka puasa buffet for RM59.90++. Today is also the last day for their 50% discount!

Have a great Ramadan feast!

  1. It was clearly stated at www.dorsettinternational.com about "40% discount available on 11-15 August 2010 and 8-10 September 2010!" - and coincidentally the 1st day of Hari Raya Puasa may fall on 10 Sep.
Luckily, I realised it and called to confirm availability of buffet on that Friday - but was told the buffet will be "automatically cancelled" if HRP falls on that day! Well, I'd definitely not take the chance..
But, imagine the frustration and disappointment caused to other unsuspecting patrons :-(

  2. Hi Nicholas,

Firstly I apologize for any frustration or inconvenience caused.

Referring to the discounts at Grand Dorsett Subang, they are actually still giving a 40% discount for a buffet dinner at Terazza Brasserie on 10 September.

It won't be a buka puasa dinner though, due to Hari Raya now falling on Friday instead of Saturday. It'll be a Hari Raya buffet dinner instead.

My associates would've emailed you by now confirming the details.

We hope this makes up for the confusion on the buka puasa and Hari Raya dates.
